Carbide hobs permit cutting speeds into the high- speed cutting (HSC) range, and significantly higher than those possible with high- speed steel hobs. The development of suitably rated hobbing machines enables the advantages of carbide hobs to be exploited in practical use.
All Gear Hob Blanks are manufactured to custom dimensions in accordance with agreed solution. Cemented carbide grades and designs are tailored to each customer based on individual needs and requirements.
We have developed cemented carbide hob blanks for demanding gear cutting and hobbing operations. Our hob blanks provide longer cutting life, better edge security, and higher productivity.

A: Three decades ago, we entered the tungsten industry. Later, due to product expansion, GEHM was founded in 2011 to focus on cutting tool blanks and wear parts.
Q2. What is your relationship with Xiamen Golden?
A: We are both subsidiaries of XTC group, specialized in different product ranges. GEHM makes carbide sintered blanks, while GESAC finished parts.

A: T/T, 30% as deposit before production, balance before shipment.
