Introduction:
GEHM supply a complete product line of cemented carbide index-able insert blanks from ISO/ANSI standard insert blanks to customized insert blanks. Regarding ball milling carbide cutter blanks, in most cases this product line are bespoken to customer’s drawing. Customer can also send us the finish insert design and we will check from our die book of insert blanks if there are existing dies for you. Normally, customer will grind the top and bottom surfaces, the inner hole and the cutting edge from our sintered ball milling blanks, hone and then coating.

Notes: GU25UF can replace KFU66 of Kennametal, 12UF from Hyperion and HB30UF from Boehlerit. GU092 is interchangeable with PN90 from Hyperion and TSF22 from Ceratizit. Besides, GU092 is engineered to achieve the high hardness, increased transverse rupture strength and unparalleled fracture toughness needed to successfully machine hardened materials - from 50 to 65 HRC. GU092 is a nano-grain tungsten carbide grade (nominal grain size 0.2 μm), with a 9% cobalt binder. Generally, if your customer have very good machining machine, GU092 will have longer tool life with better wear resistance. However, GU25UF have better toughness.
